Equinox Caller ID software is fully compatible with the UK telephone system and was designed to give you telephone caller display, call logging, call announce and conversation recording on your PC. It has been specifically created for use with Crucible Technologies hardware - Meteor, Meteor+, Pegasus, Pegasus+, Satellite 3, Satellite 6 or any combination of two products.
Overview
Equinox is intended to help individuals or companies such as shops, taxi, security, take away services and many other businesses manage their callers. Call centres can even use Equinox to create and call lists of potential customers.
Equinox can help make you stand out from others by integrating the telephone and the computer to display your calling customers information and announce the call before you answer. You know who is calling and therefore can personalise your greeting, get documents ready etc. before answering.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has published new rules requiring firms to record telephone conversations.
From March 2009, firms will have to record all telephone conversations and electronic communications relating to client orders and the conclusion of transactions in the equity, bond, and derivatives markets. Equinox can help you with these tasks.
With the correct hardware, the conversation will be automatically recorded to give you a permanent record of any legally binding verbal agreements or other commitments. You can play back the conversation later using the built in recording manager or if you prefer, your own audio player. The recording manager also allows you to scroll back and forth through the recording so that you can re listen to important parts as necessary. All recordings are kept in named folders for easy later retrieval. The recordings are filed with the call Name, Number, Date, Time and Duration.
